What’s Happening

There is likely an issue with the virtual ports that Pro Tools or any other HUI enabled DAW is trying to connect with.

Note

If your VR component is not sending information to your ControlRoom Plugin AND your Plugin is not sending information to your VR component, there might be a problem with your VR setup. See this page for more information about setting up your Hub and Plugins.

Solution (Windows)

  1. Close your DAW

  2. Select the “Recreate Virtual Ports” button in the advanced tab of the ControlRoom Hub.

  3. Reopen your DAW

  4. Open the HUI settings page in Pro Tools (Peripherals menu) and deselect all HUI control surface options.

  5. Re-select the appropriate HUI control surface options for your setup.

  6. Retry the connection with ControlRoom VR.
