The ControlRoom VR Console works as a HUI control surface in Pro Tools. Follow the steps below to configure the HUI connection to Pro Tools.
Assumptions
This guide assumes that you have already:
- Installed ControlRoom Hub and the DAW plugins
- Installed ControlRoom VR on your VR Headset
- Connected the VR app to the Hub

The Console is limited to 8 tracks in the Quest version of ControlRoom
2. Go to your device manager, find the duplicate MIDI ports under the sound, video, and game controller section, and disable the duplicate ports. 3. Restart your computer if required. |

Now that both the Hub and Pro Tools are configured, you are ready to Connect. If you aren’t there already, navigate to the DAW subpage within Settings (gear icon), and click Connect.
